  1. Im having a problem with episodes 1 and 3. Ep 1 will not play past 1:11 and episode 3 crashes my VLC player. Do you have any reccomendations?

    1. If you’ve watched our Hana no Uta release, you will notice that we include two subtitle track: the first being the localized track (dæmon) and the second with the youkai track.

        1. Demons are often refereed to as evil beings so they have that kind of connotation and it does not completely fulfill the conditions which describes a youkai. Dæmon on the hand, is more neutral and it fulfills all other criteria needed as a translation for youkai.

  2. Thanks! Here are the obvious errors in Hana no Uta that you can fix for the batch. A word is missing in both cases.
    Ep 07: 13:25
    Ep 10: 16:48

    1. Thanks, it’s been noted. At this point, to save face personally, I’ll point out that I took a look at the scripts before TS was completed (back when I thought this might be getting released, uh, two months ago), so I never saw it. >_>

      If there are further issues, it might be worth a v2, so keep your eyes peeled.

      1. Episode 2:
        line 454: https://i.imgur.com/UtQ7oxQ.jpg \frz158.1 -> \frz203.1\fry180, because shadows don’t work like that
        line 1014: “neither of us are” -> “neither of us is”, because “neither” is singular
        lines 843, 1011, 1021: “that” -> “who”, because she’s referring to a person

        I haven’t watched episode 3 yet, but I’ll keep an eye out for errors and report them when I get to it.

        1. Thanks. (lol, that shadow)

          Yeah, traditionally “neither” and “either” should be singular, but modern usage has made the plural more common (borderline acceptable, especially in casual conversation) when a prepositional phrase containing a plural follows it.

          “That” in place of “who” when referring to a person is very common these days and isn’t even a new phenomenon. A lot of people still don’t like it for strict usage and grammar, but I don’t think you’ll get too many objections using it for dialogue except maybe for certain speakers.

          1. Huh, I didn’t know that. I guess I’m not used to it because I’m not a native speaker.
            I didn’t spot any errors in episode three.
            Also, please don’t take this as a demand for a v2. If you don’t think the errors are worth it or you don’t have time, then that’s fine with me 🙂

          2. Well, they’re both still not really “accepted,” if you want to call it that. More or less, English grammar is borked and keeps getting stretched whenever enough native speakers make certain common mistakes frequently enough. (the less cynical may call this the evolution of a language…)

            More people would be upset by the first offense, though, so I’d probably go with the neither / is if there were enough to warrant a v2 (that in place of who is more mainstream). I mean, unless there are more serious errors it’s probably not worth people’s bandwidth and time for that.

            We’re always interested in constructive criticism and error checking, though, so thanks.

  3. Oh finaly! Now I can watch the rest of Hana no Uta series. Thanks!
    Waiting fot Gatcha and Zvezda.
